Service Engineer, Offshore Cranes

Job Summary
Service Engineer with strong Mechanical and Hydraulic competence to execute diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on hydraulic/mechanical equipment (cranes and winches) across offshore, ship, or rig environments. Travel to client sites worldwide required; office/workshop located in Rio de Janeiro with potential local assignments. Responsibilities include diagnostics and troubleshooting, advanced maintenance, refurbishment and upgrades, inspections, reporting, and supporting site-based sales activities while adhering to safety and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education at Bachelor's or Technical College level within Mechanical or Hydraulic
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- Previous experience with winches, cranes, steering gear
- Basic knowledge in automation and/or electrical fields
- Proven experience working with computer systems
- Good English language – verbal and written
