Job Summary
Support installation, commissioning, and service activities for power quality and grid integration systems across North America. Provide remote troubleshooting, phone triage, and coordination for field service teams. Work across hardware, software, networking, and control systems; coordinate with commissioning teams, engineers, project managers, suppliers, and customers; contribute to internal training and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred (Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, automatic control theory, software engineering, or similar)
- Experience working with computer-based control systems
- Knowledge of substation products, equipment, and engineering practices
- Knowledge of electrical safety measures, safety regulations, compliance, and electrical standards such as ANSI, CSA, and IEC
- Familiarity with power electronics technologies such as SVC, Series Capacitors, or HVDC is a plus
- Precise, organized, flexible, and able to work autonomously in time-critical and high-pressure scenarios, with clear communication and availability for occasional travel
