Job Summary
Test and repair equipment by traveling to customer locations for troubleshooting, installation, and confirmation of functionality. Perform onsite services for individuals and organizations while ensuring all activities follow the Permit-to-Work System and Job Safety Analysis protocols. Coordinate service activities with clients to minimize downtime, maintain proper tool inventory, and manage parts receiving and issuing. Lead safety initiatives including the Safety Observation Card program and enforce PPE usage across all work areas. Schedule inspections for rigging, lifting, and environmental equipment, and maintain comprehensive handover notes for maintenance disciplines. Report equipment damage immediately and stay current on operational bulletins. When not in the field, assist with ongoing O & R jobs in the shop.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- minimum of 1 year of experience working in a technical or field services role
- Commitment to Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE)
- Previous experience as a Field Service Technician
- Must represent the company in a professional manner both on and off the job
- Ensure and enforce the proper use of PPE at all levels within his work area
- Ensures all certification and training requirements are met and maintained as per the company training matrix at all times
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2.5 years' experience in service or maintenance capacity
- Relevant trade certificate
- Minimum one year maintenance/Service background in similar capacity with a good safety record
- Enthusiasm to build a new company with cultural diversity
