Job Summary
Service Engineer responsible for servicing and upgrading Elekta Treatment Delivery Systems within the local area, assisting with installations, and acting as the liaison and support representative for the local region. Responsibilities include performing routine troubleshooting and repairs on designated modality, conducting calibrations and preventative maintenance, completing field change orders and safety checks, providing technical advice to customers via phone/email, staying current on Elekta products, and supporting sales/customer service with technical input. Travel to customer sites (domestic/international up to ~30%) as required, manage parts inventory and equipment, and adhere to Elekta policies while delivering high-quality customer care. Strong emphasis on reading blueprints/schematics, documenting reports, and communicating effectively with customers; required knowledge includes MS Office, Salesforce, QlikSense, Concur, and Workday. Fluency in English and the ability to represent the organization professionally are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electronic/Electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Elekta Linac field service experience or equivalent systems
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
- Fault find and repair at board level & below
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time
- Valid driver’s license (optional)
- Fluent English in spoken and written form (optional)
- Must be willing to work with Elekta training programs and adhere to quality/system requirements
