Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve technical problems on-site for Bruker BNSM instruments, including AFM and X-ray metrology equipment, by analyzing complex electro-mechanical hardware and software issues. Perform preventative maintenance, install and qualify accessories, and provide user training to end-users. Escalate field issues to the Technical Support Team while maintaining daily activity records in the database. Work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays, traveling to customer sites across Taiwan. Candidates must be able to work in cleanroom, production floor, and laboratory environments.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to work in cleanroom, production floor, & laboratory environments.
- Customer focused.
- Passionate about science and technology & enabling customers with Bruker technology.
- Demonstrated excellent analytical capability, theoretical understanding of physics, working knowledge of electronics, mechanics, control systems, computers, networking, and common tooling such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc... to be an effective problem solver of complex system, product user, and/or application issues.
- Demonstrated ability to install, qualify and be a trainer and technical resource that effectively empowers our customers and internal team for complex electro-mechanical instrumentation and application modules.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, logical, and effective communication.
- Able to develop, communicate, implement, and execute assigned project including achieving required deliverables on time.
- BS degree in scientific or engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-optical, Controlling Engineering) from accredited university or college with 5 - 8 years relevant experience.
- Masters degree in scientific or engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-optical, Controlling Engineering) with 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
- English proficiency: high intermediate, competent of communication in oral and written with TOEIC score ~ 600 or equivalent test score available.
- Work on rotating shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
- Travel around Taiwan to different customers' sites when required.
- Possess their own cars.
Desired Qualifications
- InSight WLI related knowledge is Plus.
