Job Summary
Senior Service Engineer 4 sets the technical standard for warranty improvement and root cause identification across field quality, service, installation/startup, repair, and training. Provides advanced vehicle system-level testing, data acquisition, hypothesis development, and data analysis to identify complex warranty issues and strengthen diagnostic capability. Delivers high-level technical guidance, mentors team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to improve processes, diagnostic strategies, and overall service performance. Develops new investigative methodologies and diagnostic frameworks, leads cross-functional investigations, negotiates warranty cost recovery when required, and standardizes best practices and procedures to improve efficiency. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of related automotive experience; strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency with data analysis platforms.
