Job Summary
ServiceNow Developer focused on designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to enhance ITSM processes and user experiences. Responsibilities include configuring ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management), developing Employee Center Pro portals, leveraging Service Operations Workspace to boost agent productivity, building and customizing workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items, and integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions, troubleshoot platform issues, and follow governance best practices. Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI Builder, UI policies, and Service Portal customization is required, with exposure to ServiceNow data model and architecture. Preferred certifications (CSA/CAD/CIS-ITSM) and Agile/Scrum experience are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
- Strong expertise in ITSM modules
- Experience with Employee Center Pro (EC Pro)
- Familiarity with Service Operations Workspace (SOW)
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience in UI Builder and Service Portal customization
- Exposure to integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Understanding of ServiceNow data model and architecture
