Job Summary
Huston’s Generator Service Division seeks experienced Service Electricians skilled in troubleshooting diesel and gaseous generators and automatic transfer switches. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years related experience, be able to perform load bank testing, and possess their own hand tools. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. The role includes participation in a 24/7 on-call emergency repair rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with diesel and gaseous fueled industrial and residential standby generators and automatic transfer switches
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair generators and transfer switches
- Experience performing load bank testing on generators of all sizes
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have your own hand tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call emergency repair rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in generators, transfer switches, and diesel engines
