Job Summary
Service Electrician role handling residential electrical tasks: diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, install and repair wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers; ensure compliance with safety codes; communicate with homeowners to explain problems and solutions; perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces); use tools and equipment common to the electrical trade; apply knowledge of electrical codes to ensure compliance. Requires 3+ years of residential electrical experience; selling Electrician experience preferred; valid driver’s license; strong customer service and problem-solving skills; ability to work in various environments; physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs; non-exempt with benefits including training, PTO, healthcare, 401K, company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of residential electrical experience
- Proven track record as a selling Electrician
- Electrical license preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Adaptability, flexibility, and teamwork
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Ability to drive
- Experience with electrical codes and regulations
