Job Summary
Pick up customer trucks as directed by the Service team and deliver them to the branch for service, ensuring quick turnaround to minimize downtime. Greet every customer with authenticity and warmth, then inspect vehicles for grease, stains, debris, or damage before returning them. Clean trucks as needed and notify management immediately if property damage is discovered. Assist the Porter with maintaining orderly traffic flow in the lot and keep the area free of hazards. Conduct all work prioritizing safety, reporting accidents and near-misses to management, and perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Service Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience operating Class 8 trucks
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License
- ability to meet insurance requirements
- FANTASTIC customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to read and interpret electronic and paper maps
- Ability to work independently
