Job Summary
Lead the service drive operations at BMW of Carlsbad by scheduling and assigning daily work objectives for service consultants, monitoring performance, coaching and training staff, assisting in service reception during peak times to collect customer and vehicle data, maintaining supplies, communicating with team leaders, reviewing open repair orders daily, resolving issues beyond the current week, partnering with dealership personnel to ensure quality of service, performing quality inspections on vehicles returned to customers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hazardous waste disposal. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and people development within AutoNation’s innovative automotive retail environment, with responsibilities spanning from customer satisfaction to regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in an auto repair facility
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- One year of supervisory experience (preferred)
