Job Summary
Execute a process involving prospecting, appraising, and presenting offers to current vehicle owners to purchase their vehicles for resale. Call, follow up, and schedule appointments for customers to appraise and buy used vehicles, utilizing CRM for lead generation. Interface with owners from appointments and service drives to approach, greet, and engage them professionally. Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures, and inputting data into Sonic's automated inventory system. Work with Sales Managers to build and propose offers, then introduce guests to the sales department to sell new vehicles. Review monthly goals with management to optimize time and plans. Requires demonstrated success in telemarketing or sales, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle rejection positively. Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the USA are required. Full-time schedule with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in telemarketing, appointment setting, or sales roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone
- Ability to handle rejection positively and persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout
- Comfortable using CRM software, productivity tools, and other technology platforms to manage leads and track progress
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR
- Weekend availability required
