Job Summary
Coordinate and assign repairs to technicians based on skill level, certification, and workload while monitoring workflow to make real-time adjustments. Communicate with customers and team members regarding repair updates, delays, and estimated completion times. Collaborate across departments with the Service office and Parts team to minimize delays, and review completed repair orders to ensure documentation meets company and warranty guidelines. Facilitate shift changes by communicating job status to ensure seamless transitions. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6:30pm and 7am to 3:30pm. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years mechanical, trucking, or dealer service experience
- Knowledge of Service department operations
- Fundamental mechanical aptitude or truck repair experience
- Proven supervisory experience and leadership skills
- Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and MS Office with 30wpm typing capability
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Tuesday-Friday, 10am-6:30pm and Saturday, 7am-3:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years experience preferred
- Procede software experience is a plus
- Freightliner dealership experience
- CIC Level I or II training
- Demonstrated time management and interpersonal communications skills, even in times of stress
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlook
