Job Summary
Coordinates service dispatching, inventory, billing and payroll to support a high-performing, profitable department. Responsibilities include courteously receiving service-related calls, inputting information into the computer system, scheduling service, and coordinating with field technicians. Schedules technicians for routine tune-ups and maintenance, and assists service manager with coordinating major repairs or installations. Communicates job assignments and progress to field technicians via radio or cellular devices. Inputs parts and labor information to generate invoices, reconciles billable and non-billable time, and administers the service contract program (new contracts, renewals, terminations, annual maintenance). Assists in controlling parts inventory and supports van/pickup restocking. Coordinates the Gas Check program by contacting customers and scheduling technicians. Requires good communication, planning and scheduling skills, accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and dependability; ability to work overtime; office-based role with a controlled environment.
