Job Summary
Service Development Manager responsible for leading projects from presale to post-sale, defining goals, planning tasks, coordinating resources, managing risks, and ensuring deliverables meet standards. Oversees scope, schedule, budget, quality, and team performance; develops detailed plans, monitors progress, resolves issues, and closes projects with lessons learned. Supports the sales cycle with technical expertise, solution design, and customer engagement before contract signing; analyzes client requirements, demonstrates product capabilities, designs feasible solutions, prepares proposals and RFP responses, and ensures the offering meets customer objectives. Reports to the ASM; collaborates with service managers, project managers, technical leads, and the sales team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or vocational school in business management or electronics; plus minimum four years related work experience in project management, telecom or field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Driver’s License required
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Experience leading projects in telecom or field services
- Strong client-facing engagement skills
- Proven ability to manage presale to post-sale lifecycle
- Budget, schedule, and risk management
- SOW/RFP/Proposal development experience
- Leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Driver’s license required
