Job Summary
Service Development and Contracts Manager for the Children and Young Peoples Service’s Strategic Commissioning Team. Responsible for managing provider relationships and contract performance for foster care services, undertaking market analysis, engaging providers, commissioning fostering services to meet demand and children’s needs, and participating in regional commissioning initiatives. The role emphasises stakeholder feedback, delivering best value, and working collaboratively to design, deliver and monitor services. Requires experience in commissioning fostering services and related quality assurance, with a focus on strategic leadership, partnership, and achieving positive outcomes for children in care. Hybrid work arrangement with a minimum two office days per week at Endeavour House, Ipswich.
