Job Summary
The Service Desk Associate role at a Planet Fitness club involves service desk administration, membership sales, and maintaining cleanliness of the facility and equipment. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, monitoring club access, answering questions and handling complaints, taking inquiries from prospects, giving tours to prospective members, selling memberships and entering new members into the database, operating the POS system, collecting balances on past-due accounts, organizing the front desk, scheduling fitness training sessions, performing regular club walk-throughs and checklists, assisting new employees, and performing routine cleaning/maintenance tasks while upholding the brand's Judgment Free Zone and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- Previous cleaning/maintenance experience preferred
- Basic computer literacy
