Job Summary
Provide Level 1 Service Desk support to end users, delivering responsive and friendly technical assistance for hardware, software, and basic IT issues. Assist with meeting room and audiovisual setup, package and deploy laptops, replace monitors, and manage incoming IT deliveries while maintaining an organized stockroom. Collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure equipment is accounted for and readily available. This 3-month contract role in Adelaide requires a proactive approach with strong customer service skills, including a willingness to undertake light physical tasks like moving monitors. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Level 1 Service Desk or IT support role
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on delivering a great user experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across common desktop, hardware, and software issues
- Confidence supporting end users both in person and remotely
- Experience with laptop imaging, device setup, and hardware deployment
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual (AV) equipment and meeting room technology
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- A willingness to undertake light physical tasks, including moving monitors, preparing equipment, and maintaining IT stock
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
