Job Summary
Service Department Associate responsibilities include working on the Deli team to provide friendly, professional customer service, maintain product quality and display, perform merchandising, stocking, rotating and slicing per customer requests, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The role involves handling inquiries, orders, special orders and returns; supporting multiple stations (hot/cold case, sandwich station, bakery, juice bar) across various shifts; weighing, wrapping, and pricing products; inspecting deliveries; keeping the counter area clean; and collaborating with Kitchen staff and store teams to meet departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
- 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write and do simple math problems
- Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems
- Able to work well with others as a team member
- A passion for serving people
- Physical Demands, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, climbing, kneeling, ability to live up to 50 lbs.
