Job Summary
Service Delivery Technician – Site Surveys conducts on-site assessments at business and residential MDUs to inform service installations, infrastructure deployments, and network upgrades. Responsibilities include capturing site-specific data (floor plans, photos, field notes), coordinating with property contacts and internal teams, assisting with fiber installation and readiness tasks, routing fiber, and conducting documentation and data management in project systems. Requires field travel across various sites, ability to work outdoors and at heights, and strong attention to detail with knowledge of fiber optic systems, cabling, power distribution, and related equipment. Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, CAD/GIS tools, and effective communication in English (bilingual skills are a plus) are desirable. OSHA safety practices, ability to work independently, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed are also noted. Location-based work is centered in Yuba City, CA, with travel to other sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
- Minimum age 18
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
- 1–3 years of experience in field service, site surveying, or telecommunications infrastructure
- Familiarity with MDU environments and installation considerations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to multiple sites including overnight stays
- Experience with CAD, GIS, or mapping software preferred (not required)
- OSHA or safety certifications strongly preferred
