Service & Delivery Technician III

Job Summary
Provide IT technical support for Safeway retail stores in Honolulu and surrounding areas; deploy and install new hardware and software, support PCs/servers, printers, POS systems, RF hardware, scales, and network servers; troubleshoot and perform break-fix repairs; collaborate with Corporate IT and Support Center; manage equipment inventory; ensure service levels and remote connectivity; travel about 25% to outer islands; flexible shifts including evenings/weekends; requires strong customer service, clear communication, and ability to work independently in a matrixed organization; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and extended periods at a desk or computer terminal.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 3+ years of technical/training/hardware certifications preferred
- 5+ years of technical systems experience
- 2+ years of technical support experience
- 2+ years’ experience with retail store systems, technology systems and hardware preferred
- 2+ years’ experience with installation and configuration of desktop and peripheral technology preferred
- Must have a good, safe driving record
- Must have a reliable vehicle
