Job Summary
Manage Fracturing and Wireline operations at the wellsite, directing field crews and equipment to carry out contracted services while coordinating job-related activities with customers. Recognize risks and reduce them to as low as reasonably possible, identifying potential unplanned changes to the job program and taking necessary actions. Ensure all personnel and contractors comply with safety standards, intervening in unsafe acts or violations by stopping operations as appropriate. Provide supervision, direction, and training to Site Supervisors, analyze pad locations for equipment layout, and ensure proper equipment arrives on time and is ready for performance. Assess direct report performance, implement development plans, and manage cost controls to minimize demurrage. Maintain a valid driver's license and work a flexible schedule including long or irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a dynamic work environment within defined deadlines.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work with consistent follow-through.
- Maintain a valid driver license and the ability to operate a vehicle for NexTier.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours
- PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Self-starting, independent with an ability to work in remote locations without day to day supervision
- Understand KPI's, RCQA's, and implement improvements
- Must be organized and attentive to details in a fast-paced working environment
- G.E.D. or H.S. Diploma - Required
- 7-10 years of industry experience.
