Job Summary
Drive the mission-critical transition from signed contracts to live network services by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of circuit implementation, cross-connect execution, and capacity activation. Serve as the technical liaison between the Acquisition team and Network Operations to optimize provisioning workflows, track carrier milestones for Dark Fiber, Wavelengths, and IP Transit, and coordinate physical and logical activation activities. Monitor vendor performance against contractual timelines, escalate delivery delays, and identify risks early while collaborating with Network Engineering, Supply Chain, and external carriers to resolve roadblocks. Identify efficiency bottlenecks in the Order-to-Service pipeline to support automation and tooling enhancements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of network service delivery experience, and strong negotiation skills to unblock stalled projects at a major ISP or Tier 1/2 Carrier.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in network service delivery, telecommunications operations, or technical program management
- Experience managing the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., Dark Fiber IRUs, high-capacity transport, or data center builds)
Desired Qualifications
- Deep technical understanding of the physical and logical layers of networking, including fiber characterization, optical transceivers, and cross-connect architecture
- Experience working at a major ISP or Tier 1/2 Carrier in a provisioning or service delivery capacity
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and identify systemic project risks
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of unblocking stalled projects through vendor account management
- Experience with Network Inventory Management systems and Salesforce-based order management workflows
