Service Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage service delivery by dynamically allocating work to vehicles and routes, planning routes, analyzing data, and setting schedules while coordinating a team of drivers. Communicate with customers and stakeholders, provide status updates, and maintain contact with drivers. Complete debriefs with front-line staff, report necessary actions, and handle face-to-face and telephone engagement to address route issues. Report all safety concerns or container damage and encourage stopping unsafe jobs. Ensure Veolia legal compliance on-site regarding WTD, O'licence, and transport standards. This role requires previous experience in waste, transport, or logistics, understanding of transport compliance, and strong communication skills. Full-time position with competitive salary, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating within a similar industry; waste/transport/logistics
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD
- Good communication skills, communicating with people of all levels, including drivers, frontline employees and customers
- Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace
- Resilience and confidence to challenge drivers professionally and constructively on performance, compliance, and safety issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced IT Skills, and the ability to adapt to Google operating systems
- Experience working with a quality management system e.g. ISO
- Managing transport compliance
