Job Summary
Day-to-day management of service delivery with dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes, and ongoing communication with customers and stakeholders. You will debrief frontline staff, report necessary actions or updates, and engage face-to-face with drivers to address issues on route. Ensure Veolia on-site legal compliance (WTD, O’Licence, transport compliance) and escalate safety concerns or container damage with a view to stopping the job if unsafe. Must understand transport compliance and WTD, possess strong communication skills across drivers, frontline staff, and customers, and be able to manage a busy workload. Proficiency with a quality management system (ISO), IT skills, and adaptability to Google workspace is expected. Desirable prior experience in waste/transport/logistics, and a commitment to Veolia’s values and inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD
- Good communication skills with people at all levels
- Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace
- Experience with quality management systems e.g. ISO
- Experienced IT skills and ability to adapt to Google operating systems
