Job Summary
Track and process every work order, invoice, and technician hour accurately while managing daily payroll and Work In Process metrics. Handle incoming store phone calls, schedule service department trucking, and apply proper general ledger account numbers to all accounts payable invoices. Maintain a minimum 100% WIP ratio, file internal and external records, and assist the Service Manager with special events and projects as required. This role supports the Service, Parts, and Sales departments to promote a "Customer First" mindset across all branches. You will work in a fast-paced environment with rotating Saturdays, applying basic accounting practices and Microsoft Office skills to enhance the customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard internet applications
- Customer service experience or skills
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Availability for rotating Saturdays
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- General understanding of mechanical or technical terms
- Prior experience in a dealership or service department
