Job Summary
Coordinate programs and activities for residents while serving as a liaison to community agencies and service providers. Identify low-cost service options, negotiate discounts, and develop a Resource Directory of state and local providers. Engage residents to identify needs, make referrals, and sponsor educational events on health care and life skills. Provide customer service, assist with basic needs like housekeeping and transportation, and monitor feedback from residents and families. Work full-time (36 hours/week) Monday through Friday at Walnut Creek Village. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations
- Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources
- Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents
