Job Summary
Service Coordinator for the AZ AzEIP Early Intervention Program. Works within the EI Core Team (Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, Developmental Specialists) to support families of children birth to three with disabilities or developmental needs. Responsibilities include processing referrals, scheduling initial meetings, conducting screenings, maintaining child files and AZ DES/RiSE tracking databases, coordinating assessments and IFSP/IEP/eligibility meetings, and ensuring effective collaboration with families and professionals. Requires travel to meetings and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with knowledge of AzEIP policies, child development, family partnerships, teamwork, assessments, and planning/intervention; bilingual skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or closely related field with coursework reviewed and approved by AzDES/AzEIP
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Demonstrated communication and listening skills (written and verbal)
- May require travel to attend meetings, training and appointments
- Background clearance and Level One Fingerprint Card Clearance required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
