Job Summary
The Service Coordinator serves as the central administrative link, coordinating service requests by entering, scheduling, and closing work orders; assigning technicians and vendors; managing resident communications via phone, email, and tickets; and collaborating with service teams and property operations. Responsibilities include triaging work orders, monitoring progress, escalating issues, and ensuring timely updates and service delivery. The role requires high energy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls and system updates. Proficiency with Power BI for tracking service trends and performance is preferred, along with experience using work order and service management platforms. Key capabilities include high-volume communication, data entry, scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and a resident-focused approach. Knowledge of tools such as Power BI and service platforms (e.g., Yardi, Facilgo) and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset are important for success.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of administrative, customer service, or operations support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience managing work orders, scheduling, and coordinating service tasks
- Exposure to data tracking and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish (reading & writing) preferred
- Knowledge of service operations, work orders, and vendor coordination
