Job Summary
Service Coordinator is responsible for the provision of housing services to individuals who are homeless in Solano County, including counseling, referrals to financial/credit counseling and legal services, and developing an individualized housing plan toward permanent housing stability. The role coordinates services to ensure participants receive essential supports, works with landlords and social service partners, maintains client files, and documents services in BIRP format. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience, 2 years of case management experience, a valid California driver’s license with adequate auto insurance, and a flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field or equivalent field experience
- 2 years case management experience providing services to homeless or low-income individuals and/or families
- Driving and transportation of participants when required
- Use of personal vehicle and proof of valid California Driver's License and current auto insurance, along with a clean DMV record
- Flexible schedule to work evening and weekend hours as needed
