Job Summary
Maintain payables systems, prepare invoicing documentation, and submit accurate reports for mechanical and electrical services. Conduct onsite evaluation of customer equipment, perform quote in-house and field services, and provide technical support via phone, email, and visits. Assist with customer training, advise on minor modifications, and review field service activities when required. Maintain customer satisfaction through courtesy visits and industry trade show participation. Requires High School diploma, two years of ski area industry experience, and international travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Excellent communication skills with high level of professionalism and accuracy via phone and email
- A wide range of Aerial tramway knowledge that should include regulatory requirements, NDT, manuals, and industry best practices
- Field service activities that include but are not limited to: Grip rebuild and inspection, sheave train rebuild, terminal maintenance, BW bearings, haul rope replacements and rope shortenings
- Basic computer skills to include Excel, Word, SMS and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of service activities to provide accurate quotes, including scope of work, expected duration, and cost
- Minimum of two years of experience in the ski area industry or a related field
- Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background
- Requires International travel to other Doppelmayr facilities for training and meetings
