Job Summary
Service Coordinator 1 handles incoming customer calls including service dispatching, tracking and scheduling of calls, enters new sites, modifies existing sites and handles general inquiries; creates and dispatches work orders in iCare for scheduling maintenance; attends planning sessions, reconciles weekly service paperwork, and enters timesheets; assists with invoicing, subcontractor pricing, and purchasing; manages technician check-in/check-out and badging/training logs; maintains customer service binders and communications to maximize satisfaction; provides service quotes with supervisor assistance; schedules monthly maintenance with key customers and subcontractors; tracks expiring contracts and PM visits; supports customer satisfaction surveys and follow-up procedures; administers Spectrum maintenance data (adding sites/flags), and provides overflow administrative support as needed; aims to be the customer’s best service provider and performs additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years call center, dispatch, or administrative (preferred)
- Experience in a construction industry environment (preferred)
- Exceptional telephone and personal customer service skills
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
- Basic financial knowledge and skills—ability to understand basic financials such as accounts receivable/payable, purchase orders, work orders, etc.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously
