Job Summary
Service Consultant at ENGEL serves as the strategic link between engineering and customer operations, driving growth by selling maintenance contracts, retrofits, and the Inject 4.0 digital portfolio. Responsibilities include conducting on-site and remote technical assessments, managing the full aftermarket sales cycle from initial engagement to closing and implementation, presenting complex digital and mechanical solutions to stakeholders, monitoring industry trends, and providing feedback to ENGEL teams. The role requires traveling approximately 75% and a high school diploma with engineering, plastics technology, or business preferred. The position emphasizes customer-facing technical advocacy, territory management, and cross-functional collaboration to extend machinery lifecycles and enhance performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Plastics Industry
- High school diploma required; degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or Business is highly preferred
- TechnicalSavvy to discuss service products and digital solutions
- Sales Acumen to navigate procurement processes and budget cycles
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
