Service Center Technician

Job Summary
Perform scheduled and emergency service work, including disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of Xylem systems and products. Service, repair, and overhaul pump sets; install, test, and commission pumps to operational standards before dispatch. Respond to emergency breakdowns and scheduled field service across the Goldfields region while communicating expert service advice to customers and internal teams. Prepare and maintain accurate service records and documentation. This full-time, locally based role supports Xylem's global mission to advance sustainable water solutions and empower communities through innovative technology.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification — fitter and turner, mech fitter, mechanic, small engine mechanic or electrical trades
- Prior workshop or field service experience in a similar mechanical role
- Exposure to pump systems or heavy mechanical equipment
- MR licence
- Forklift ticket
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer communication skills
