Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the regional distribution center, ensuring efficient inbound processes and timely outbound shipping. Implement strategies to streamline receiving, handling, and inventory control while analyzing key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. Enforce quality control procedures, conduct regular inspections, and address product quality issues through cross-functional collaboration. Lead a team of distribution center staff by providing coaching, managing staffing levels, and fostering a positive, safety-compliant work environment. Uphold strict adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards through training and incident investigation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proven experience in distribution center management
- Focus on inbound and inventory control/quality assurance operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies
- Must be available for 2nd shift
