Job Summary
Inventory food from the Regional Food Bank, manage in-kind donations, and document reports to regional leadership. Oversee food safety regulations, the Red Kettle Campaign, and holiday programs including social service intake and Angel Tree. Recruit and coordinate volunteers for pantry coverage, mobilize recruitment for Long Point Campers, and maintain volunteer paperwork. Manage office inventory, equipment, and building maintenance while working with DHQ support for grants and social service initiatives. Act as the Salvation Army representative for community donations and outreach.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2 year technical certificate
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to make multi-task
- Proficiency with computer office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, Database, internet, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License that meets The Salvation Army insurance requirements
- Must be able to manage, provide all reports, budgets, statistics and process all paperwork as required
- Individual must be willing to work additional hours as required
- Position has both internal contacts within the organization and external contacts within the community, which require considerable tact, courtesy, and diplomacy
- The utmost of integrity is required to safeguard confidential proprietary information of the organization
