Job Summary
The Service Center Manager at CrossCountry Freight Solutions will oversee staff, ensuring compliance and efficiency in transportation services. Responsibilities include monitoring dispatch activities, implementing process improvements, coaching team members, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Candidates must have a minimum of five years' experience in LTL operations and possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with knowledge of regulatory compliance, budget management, and transportation systems. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in LTL operations, freight transportation, or logistics management
- Understanding of LTL operations, including freight handling, dock operations, and linehaul processes
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and safety standards (OSHA)
- Understanding of freight classification, rating, and billing procedures
- Experience with route optimization and load planning
- Experience managing budgets and cost control
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Effective organizational and multitasking skills
- Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to get along with diverse personalities
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Experience in a supervisory or management role within the transportation industry
