Job Summary
Carry a full dining-room section while delivering personalized service, managing reservations, and coordinating with culinary and bar staff. Assist with pre-shift meetings, prepare floor plans, and establish server sections to ensure consistent table and seat usage. Train and coach new employees on POS operations, coursing, menu knowledge, allergens, and service procedures while reinforcing hospitality standards. Monitor service pacing, address member concerns, and support banquet or event service as assigned. Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties to maintain operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of serving experience in fine dining, country clubs, hotels, or upscale hospitality
- Strong food, wine, spirits, cocktail, and service knowledge
- Ability to train and coach employees while successfully managing a full section
- Strong communication, organization, member-recognition, and problem-solving skills
- POS proficiency
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a lead server, trainer, or captain preferred
- Club Essentials experience preferred
