Job Summary
Core calibration & maintenance on CMMs and Equator-X machines; perform ISO 10360-2/5 verification and calibration; set up and measure with artefacts; produce calibration labels, certificates, and documentation; conduct performance analysis with laser interferometers; support installation and commissioning teams; maintain calibration records and logs; provide customer guidance on standards, measurement uncertainty, and machine performance; engage in continuous improvement and contribute to standardisation across the service network; field-based role across the UK with occasional international travel; UK driving licence and willingness for travel; hybrid working policy referenced but role is primarily field-based with on-site customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- HNC Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer facing, field based role
- Excellent customer-facing communication and professionalism
- Methodical, detail-driven mindset with analytical skills
- Capable of working independently on customer sites with minimal supervision
- Strong ownership and reliability in delivering high-quality calibration outcomes
