Job Summary
Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles, retrieve carts from parking, and perform bottle tasks and janitorial duties. Use proper bagging supplies and techniques when handling guests' purchases, empty bottle bins, and clean bottle machines. Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts while maintaining a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department. Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines and follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Work independently to ensure the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- The employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
