Job Summary
Service Associate – Reservations at Shangri-La Toronto. Responsible for handling incoming reservations calls, maintaining guest profiles, providing a 5-Star guest experience, coordinating with Central Reservations and Sales, and ensuring accurate occupancy forecasts, rate loading, and timely communications. Requires strong English communication, analytical and detail-oriented skills, proficiency with Windows-based programs and hotel PMS/Sales systems, and flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, or holidays. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hospitality role; diploma/degree in Hospitality Management preferred; must be eligible to work in Canada. Demonstrates hospitality standards per Forbes guidelines, maintains high guest and colleague satisfaction, and supports ad hoc reservation tasks and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a similar capacity with an international world-class hotel, or comparable experience with key competitor
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- 100% fluency in English
