Job Summary
Greet members, guests, and staff with a friendly attitude while directing them upon entry. Provide information on gym services, programs, and membership options, then address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly. Check in members using the management system, process payments for memberships and retail items, and manage check-in alerts. Ensure the front desk is clean and stocked, oversee inventory for beverages and bar items, and track sales performance. Conduct gym walks, pick up trash, restock supplies, and complete locker room and bathroom checks. Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all individuals. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hourly pay range $15.50–$16.50 USD. Free membership for you and one family member.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with gym management software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
- Ability to access and operate company computer systems in order to prepare documents, enter data, and read reports from database or email system
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus
