Job Summary
Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-ins by reviewing make-ready boards, executing repairs and replacements, applying touch-up or full paints, and clearing all trash. Perform necessary maintenance tasks including plumbing, tile work, appliance, carpentry, and electrical repairs as outlined on checklists. Inspect completed units, schedule follow-up work, and designate apartments as "Ready" only after ensuring standards are met. Assist with pool maintenance and grounds keeping when needed. Provide own tools and interact with vendors, contractors, clients, and all employee levels. Requires high school diploma, tool proficiency, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
- Must be able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions and plans.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to read and write in English in order to read diagrams, meters, instructions, etc.
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA Requirements, EEOC.
- Must supply own tools.
