Job Summary
Service Associate I combines customer service and teller duties in a branch, focusing on opening deposit accounts, processing loan applications and closings, and achieving sales/service goals. Responsibilities include making referrals to other banking lines and partners, proactively engaging high-value customers to grow and retain the portfolio, maintaining operational compliance, handling deposits and monetary instruments, processing loan payments, and supporting both platform and teller line activities with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of sales experience in a retail, financial services or hospitality environment preferred
- Some banking experience is preferred (e.g., teller or otherwise) is a plus
- Basic business acumen and professionalism
- Ability to communicate information clearly
- Ability to build relationships across the organization
- Ability to quickly learn product and service details offered by the bank
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
