Job Summary
Remove trash from office areas, common areas, and vacant units daily. Clean and maintain the pool by monitoring chemical balance, updating logs, and checking gate security. Clean carpets in occupied and vacant units as directed. Water property plants and grass, reporting irrigation malfunctions to the supervisor. Perform power washing for preventative maintenance and assist the Housekeeper with cleaning office, grounds, and common areas. Requires pool operations certifications and familiarity with steam cleaning equipment. Entry-level position with on-the-job training available for those with a high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Must have certifications/permits required by the city or state to perform job responsibilities (i.e., pool operations)
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months stable employment in customer service or another related field
- Carpet/Steam cleaning machine/Wet-Dry Vacuum, preferred
- Broom/rake and Leaf/Trash blowing machine
- Pool chemical testing procedures and kits, preferred
- Previous experience with tools/equipment needed for apartment make ready duties preferred
