Job Summary
Groundskeeper role for an apartment community focusing on daily pool and grounds maintenance, trash removal, plant watering, and routine cleaning tasks. Key duties include maintaining pool chemical balance, updating logs, checking gate security, carpet cleaning in units, and assisting the housekeeping team. Requires on-the-job training; entry-level with six months of customer-service or related experience and city/state permit certifications for pool operations. Preferred high school diploma. Equipment experience includes carpet/steam cleaning, vacuums, brooms/rakes, and pool-chemical testing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months stable employment in customer service or another related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required.
- Entry level position. On the job training is available.
- Must have certifications/permits required by the city or state to perform job responsibilities (i.e., pool operations).
- Carpet/Steam cleaning machine/Wet-Dry Vacuum, preferred.
- Broom/rake and Leaf/Trash blowing machine.
- Pool chemical testing procedures and kits, preferred.
