Job Summary
Responsible for daily pool and grounds maintenance for an apartment community. Tasks include removing trash from office/common areas, cleaning and maintaining the pool, monitoring pool chemical balance, ensuring pool area gates are secure, carpet cleaning in vacant/occupied units, watering plants, reporting irrigation malfunctions, power washing, trash removal from vacant units, and assisting the Housekeeper with cleaning offices and common areas. Requires ability to learn on the job, with six months of customer service or related experience; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certifications/permitting as required by city or state (e.g., pool operations) are needed. Entry level role with on-the-job training available; prior experience with cleaning equipment and pool-related duties is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months stable employment in customer service or another related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required
- On the job training is available
- Must have certifications/permits required by the city or state to perform job responsibilities (i.e., pool operations)
- Entry level position
- Carpet/Steam cleaning machine/Wet-Dry Vacuum, preferred
- Pool chemical testing procedures and kits, preferred
- Previous experience with tools/equipment needed for apartment make ready duties preferred
