Job Summary
Oversee daily residential operations and partner with the Service Area Director to ensure high-quality service delivery. Provide leadership and operational oversight to supervisors and direct service staff, while leading facility operations during the Director's absence. Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach employees to maintain safe staffing levels and operational coverage. Monitor program performance, manage youth grievance processes, and facilitate quality improvement initiatives. Support crisis management, financial oversight, and compliance with licensing standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development to drive employee engagement, performance management, and continuous improvement. This role requires occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and complete First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in social services, behavioral health, juvenile justice, residential treatment, or a nonprofit setting
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- An acceptable driving record
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Successfully complete agency-provided First Aid/CPR/AED certifications
- Successfully complete agency-provided Handle With Care certifications
- Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading residential treatment or juvenile justice programs
- Experience with licensing, accreditation, quality improvement, and trauma-informed care
