Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vending, fountain, coffee, ice, and refrigeration equipment while installing, removing, and relocating all dispensing units. Account for product and cash from machines, perform daily handheld close-out procedures, and reconcile routes by turning in required DSD reports. Order product for delivery, stack merchandise according to customer specifications, and collect empty pallets and shells from backrooms. Transport product and equipment to special events, maintain vehicle cleanliness and DOT compliance, and complete pre- and post-trip inspections. Function in a relief role for Delivery Customer Representatives and Territory Sales Managers to support vacations and illnesses. Available to work weekends and on-call when assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid "Class A" commercial driver's license and the ability to operate in Interstate commerce
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- A driving record that meets LinPepCo's Policy on Driver Records
- Must be available to work weekends and on-call when assigned
Desired Qualifications
- CDL-A Preferred!
- Mechanical and refrigeration trade school training preferred
- Diagnostic/troubleshooting experience preferred
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of tablets
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to & experience in moving large pieces of equipment with mechanical aides
- Skills in problem-solving and judgment and decision making
- Familiar with DOT regulations
- Knowledge of inventory management and general merchandising
