Job Summary
Perform commission work on ESS systems by assembling, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing mechanical and electrical processes. Diagnose errors, read schematics, and use hand and power tools to install, remove fasteners, and handle materials like fiberglass and aluminum. Provide service and customer support during field visits while adhering to safety procedures and documentation. Requires up to 25% travel, with a salary of $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service equipment
- Reads schematics
- Uses measuring tape, levels, squares for installations based on Engineering documentation (metric is preferred)
- Use of standard hand tools where applicable
- Use of power tools such as electric and pneumatic tools where applicable
- Use of multiple meters
- Drilling and handling of material such as (fiberglass, plastics composites and aluminum)
- Installation and removal of fasteners such as nuts, bolts and rivets
- Occasionally apply adhesives and sealants to ESS processes
- Install and repair of cooling system
- Demonstrates attention to detail

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
